San Francisco Marathon – First Marathon

Don’t remember much about this race other than

• Having a good time on the hills around miles 20-22, and earning a glare from another runner as a result
• Not feeling one way or the other about my time (3:52:55) because I didn’t have any frame of reference
• Eating a pint of ice cream after finishing, and my boyfriend-at-the-time’s mother being appalled

I remember choosing to run it because I had done a few ultras before this and it felt like a smart move to do a marathon. I was also really into this camo shirt for some reason.
