Mesa Marathon – Feb 2022

Ran Mesa Marathon a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be a fast race for me, but I predictably went out way too hard at the beginning (due to the deceptive downhills!) and the crashed. So, still a finish, but not a fast one! Here are some pictures

There was a LOT of swag. Maybe too much swag.
Start line! We had to get on the bus at 4:30am, so I slept in this heat sheet for an hour at the start line. It was very cold before we started running!
They had fireworks at the start line!
